Just got back to SLC from a jam packed week in Vermont. After a long layover plus three hour delay in JFK followed by a bumpy connecting flight we finally made it into Albany. Carter and I were picked up by Johnny in the SNOWREV rig but had to wait another hour for Lonnie Kauk to land.. we all piled in the car and headed out to Vermont rolling in to Stratton around 4 in morning. Four hours later we were up rolling to the Mountain for Slopestyle finals. Saturday marked Superpipe, Big Air and…….. I don’t feeling like writing anymore so check out the photos and reports below. ha

WSC | Park City
March 20, 2008 | Filed Under PHOTOS | Leave a Comment
So the World Superpipe Championships went down at Park City the other week. It was my first time shooting it and I was coming in to it thinking another pipe contest nothing really special… same people, same tricks different venue. Which for the most part was true but what made this pipe event different from the rest was how Park City handled the media. First off was a pass to the riders reception dinner the night before in the Legacy Lodge with free dinner, drinks and dessert. Secondly they only gave out a limited number of deck photo passes with made it mellow to shoot anywhere. Thirdly another amazing free meal right after men’s final of salad, mash potato’s, bread, cookies, veggies and their were two guys slicing your choice of meat right off bone for you followed by a free beverage bar. Talk about hooking it up… I was pretty stoked. Click below to see the rest of the photos from the WSC.

Kramer Update
March 3, 2008 | Filed Under NEWS, PHOTOS | Leave a Comment
Jeff Kramer is radical guy. After holding it down it the old Grenade shop Propagandhi in June for awhile he made the move to Alpine, WY. Alpine is a small snowmobile town 45 mins south of Jackon Hole where you will find more sleds parked outside the local bar than cars. I got a chance to shred and shoot with Kramer for a day while up in Jackon for the Natural Selection. We got some deeeep snow and a bunch of sick shots. Check out a update with Kramer and some photos I took from that trip on the Bataleon site. Also check out the Blue Bird Wax movie teaser which Jeff will be filming for.

GvR – Regular Stomps Goofy!

This past Saturday Bear Mtn held the 1st ever etnies GvR battle of the stances. I made the drive from Mormon land to the sunny skies of SoCal to shoot the event. I must say it was probably one of best contests Bear has put on from the rider list, cash purse and course layout. I had a great time and I got to see and eat with my socal homies for life Jamotron and Curtis Gnarcore. Click the GvR pic to check out the Full Report on Snowboard Revolution.

Business Cards Approved

Just got my Business Cards back from the printer and I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out. Nothing crazy I went the simple, clean and smooth route to match the site. Just wished I wouldn’t have lagged on these and had em during SIA 1, 2, 3.
