Randomly came across this a little bit ago. FACES OF SKATEBOARDING Great photo book with a different perspective of Skateboarding and Skateboarders by swedish photographer Daniel Mansson. I really enjoyed looking through this.. makes me want to shoot film more.

Finally got the chance to shoot a after hours session in Mammoth this April. The night started off not looking to good with grey skies and almost no light but the sun poked through right has it was setting and one of the most epic sunsets I have seen exploded all over the sky. This was also the first day I got to shot with my new Ranger so it was extra epic. Super stoked on that thing. Check the link for the rest of the photos..

Filmed a few things with my point and shoot while shooting Superpark 12. Below are clips of Scotty Lago, Lonnie Kauk and Dan Brisse all doing some crazy stuff. You can kind of get a feel for how loud and powerful the heli was…
Superpark went down for four days on backside of Mammoth during the second week of May. Thanks to Bridges I was able to get back there and do a full work up for Snowboard Revolution. I shot for pretty much 8hrs each of those four days… The park open at 11am and we wouldn’t leave until around 7 or 8. Glad I bought those extra batteries…. Some heavy stuff went down and I’m stoked I was able to watch and be a part of it all. Check the links for lots of photos, story, sequences and video.

I randomly came across another tip for fixing your broken pocket wizard very similar to mine. Looks like I could of just ordered the hot shoe part directly from Pocket Wizard but I went with the $1.99 krazy glue option. Erik Seo has included the part number and very easily followed how to on fixing your Pocket Wizard. I have a strange feeling this is going to happen to me again soon. Might be smart to stock up on these hot shoes like Erik has.

Mammoth West Coast Invitational 2008
Fiesta de la pipa, Village Rail Jam, Talib Kweli concert its all there. I shot this whole event solo this year and tried to hustle my ass off to get a lot of different angles to bust out a solid 30-40 picture report for each day. I used my new Ranger for the rail Jam and man do I love that thing…… Overall it was a good weekend.
