GvR – Regular Stomps Goofy!
February 24, 2008 | Filed Under PHOTOS | 2 Comments
This past Saturday Bear Mtn held the 1st ever etnies GvR battle of the stances. I made the drive from Mormon land to the sunny skies of SoCal to shoot the event. I must say it was probably one of best contests Bear has put on from the rider list, cash purse and course layout. I had a great time and I got to see and eat with my socal homies for life Jamotron and Curtis Gnarcore. Click the GvR pic to check out the Full Report on Snowboard Revolution.

Business Cards Approved

Just got my Business Cards back from the printer and I’m pretty happy with the way they turned out. Nothing crazy I went the simple, clean and smooth route to match the site. Just wished I wouldn’t have lagged on these and had em during SIA 1, 2, 3.

MISC MONDAY | Whatever miscellaneous crap of mine that I feel like sharing… every Monday. Lets see how long this lasts.
This is one of my good homies AK. He just recently moved to New Zealand and I got a chance to hang with him before he left in Vegas during SIA 2008. We made some sweet tee shirts over at the Mervin booth were you could choose from like 10 different sheets of random Mervin designs, cut them out and have a guy in a banana suit press them onto a white tee for ya. Here is AK’s shirt…. looks like two guys Shertwo would have drawn.

Natural Selection

Best contest ever…. by far. From the venue, riders, terrain, judging and pretty much every aspect of this event was amazing. Such a refreshing and relaxing good ole time after coming straight off the mayhem and chaos that surrounds the X Games….. Geeezz it was my first time shooting X and it was and experience that I wouldn’t not mind having ever again.. I will just leave it at that.
To really see the deal and how deep the snow was check out tons of videos from cowboy night to the finals at Capser Bowl over at quicksilver.com/natural selection and of course check out all my photos from Day: 1 and 2 from the Natural Selection in Jackson with just one click below.

SOFT LAUNCH
February 13, 2008 | Filed Under NEWS | Leave a Comment
After being on the road for the past three weeks I have finally had time to make a few changes to the SITE. Putting in some solid hours tonight I sort of did a “Soft Launch” to see how things were looking and working and I have to say I’m pretty stoked on the results being that I’m new to this all. That simple viewer was a tough one but I finally got it that figured out, customized to my liking and managed to put up tiny gallery for now. I have also been trying to find a new theme that works for this blog but have come up empty handed on all the stock options word press offers….. I need to learn how to start customizing and doing some major tweaks to get want I want on the blog or maybe I will just ask Chris N.
Man its good to be back in my own bed. I was all over the place for a minute and Jackson Hole was definitely the highlight of the past month. That place is ridiculous! Deepest and steepest snow I have ever ridden in my life!

- Stoked after dropping the infamous Corbits Colouir and then The Cave not to mention the chest deep turns I had come out of the Colouir.
